Confiseur Läderach AG in Ennenda near Glarus has specialized in the creation of superb truffles and pralines since 1962. The product line also includes exquisite petits fours, artistic seasonal chocolate specialties, semi-finished convenience products and marvellous desserts.
Soon after setting up on one’s own Rudolf Läderach, the company’s founder succeeded in inventing the hollow truffle shell, which turned out to be a stroke of genius. The shell simplified the craft of truffle production and offered thousands of colleagues a most welcome productivity enhancement.
At the foot of the Glarus Alps, where the story of the clever chocolate maker began in an old bakery, there now stands an impressive production facility. Our elegant shop in Glarus has delighted hearts and palates of gourmets with exquisite confectioner’s specialties since almost 25 years.
